A.S. Fenichel gave up a successful IT
career in New York City to pursue her lifelong dream of being a
professional writer. She adores writing stories filled with love,
passion, desire, magic and maybe a little mayhem tossed in for good
measure. Originally from New York, she grew up in New Jersey, and now
lives in Missouri with her real-life hero, her wonderful husband and two
temperamental cats.

Book Blurb
Left standing on the side while their contemporaries
marry into society, four young ladies forge a bond to guard each other
from a similar fate . . .
Finishing school failed to make a proper lady of Penelope Arrington.
But as a Wallflower of West Lane, Poppy has a far more vital role—she
and her three best friends have made a pact to protect each other from
the clutches of dangerous, disreputable men. So when one of them is
about to be married off to a duke sight unseen, Poppy makes it her
mission to divine the prospective husband’s true character. If only she
didn’t require the aid of London’s most unsuitable rake.
Rhys Draper, Earl of Marsden, has known the headstrong Poppy since
she was a young girl, naïve to the ways of men. To her eternal
chagrin—and to his vague amusement—they have been at odds over the
memory of their embarrassing first encounter all these years. Now, with
his services in need, Rhys sees a chance to finally clear the air
between them. Instead, he is surprised by the heat of their feelings. If
the two do not tread carefully, they may end up in a most agreeably
compromising position . . .

After your book was released, what was the first thing
you did when getting ready for your book launch?
I check with my publisher to see what they have planned so
we’re not repeating the same kind of promotion.
After that, what was your next step?
I contacted Pump Up You Book promotions to get on their
schedule for my release month.
Did you do anything different to spice up your website in
lieu of your upcoming book release?
For The Wallflowers of West Lane I had my entire website
updated. It’s gorgeous. Check it out http://asfenichel.com
Did you ever consider using a PR agency to help you
promote your book or did you prefer the DIY route?
I have done both. For now, I manage most of it myself, I
work with Fresh Fiction and have the help of my publisher.
Were finding reviews a top priority for you and, if yes,
how did you approach that?
Reviews are really important to Amazon sales. I have a FB
group of fans that help me and NetGalley is a huge help in gaining reviews. I
have also become friends with some wonderful bookstagrammers and they help out
a lot.
What are your views on social media for marketing your
book?
Social Media takes up a lot of my time, but it’s also a
great way to reach readers who love Regency Romance.
What social media has worked best for you?
Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook are the three I focus on
personally. I use Twitter, but not as much.
Did you write a press release and do you think it worked
for you?
I have not yet mastered this skill.
Did you have other books you offered for free in order to
help sell your present book?
I have some novellas that are free to readers who join my
newsletter or visit my website. http://asfenichel.com
Did you set up booksignings and, if so, how did that work
for you?
I love book signings. Unfortunately, my upcoming appearances
have been cancelled due to Covid 19. I hope to get out there again in a few
months.
Any tips for those authors wanting to set up a successful
book launch?
Make yourself visible and available to readers. Get going on
a newsletter subscriber list. Grow your BookBub following. Grow your Social
Media following. Get those reviews, but don’t read them. LOL
Thanks for having me here today. Andie, A.S. Fenichel
